Now, this will change everything in Senate House with the Minnesota Supreme Court yesterday declared comedian-turned-politician Franken the winner of States U.S. Senate race, which ending a month long election saga and giving Democrate a 60 seat majority that would allow
them to block GOP filibusters.
The ruling led Norm Colman to concede his Senate to Franken, who could be sworm in as soon
next week. When the Senate returns from a recess.
Now, that Gov. Tim Pawlenty ( R ) signed election declaring Franken the winner yesterday evening.
In a unoanmous ruling the court rejected Republican Norm Coleman's legal argument that
some absented ballets had been improperly counted, and that some localities had used
inconsistent standards in counting votes.
The Democrats now have their largest majority in the Senate Since 1978, but their ability to
prevent filibusters as they attemp to push President Obama's Agenda is likely to prove
illusory.
Now, all we have to do is see what happen to Democrats now. Since they have the Senate
and what this mean to President Obama's plans.
